TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The owner of the online store www.truckmeet.lv is SIA “dividividividivi”, reg. no. 40203493441, legal address: Glūdas iela 8-60, Riga, LV-1063, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”). The Online Store provides the content available on the website and provides goods/services in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below.

1. General Provisions

1.1. If a consumer purchases goods/services through the website, such a mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the legal norms of the Republic of Latvia governing distance contracts, including, but not limited to, the “Consumer Rights Protection Law” of the Republic of Latvia, the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations “Regulations on Distance Contracts”, etc.

2. Making a Purchase

2.1. The prices and specifications of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. 

2.2. To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping basket. Fill in all required fields and choose the most suitable delivery method. The total cost of the order, including delivery, is then displayed on the screen. Complete the payment to finalize the order.

3. Payment Terms

3.1. The currency used on the website is the Euro (€). Payments can be made using the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv (Maksekeskus AS):

  • Online bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor, Revolut, N26, Wise.

  • Card payments: Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay, GooglePay. 

    3.2. NB! When using the online bank payment method, confirm the order and click the “Return to merchant” button. 

    3.3. Personal data required for making payments is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS

    3.4. The contract enters into force upon successful payment to the Online Store's bank account. If for any reason it is not possible to fulfill the order, the Buyer will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

4. Delivery Terms

4.1. Goods are delivered to the following countries: Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Iceland, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina. 

4.2. Purchased goods are delivered using parcel machine and courier services provided by the following partners: 

  • SIA Omniva;
  • SIA DPD Latvija;
  • SIA VENIPAK LATVIJA;
  • VAS Latvijas Pasts
  • Deutsche Post AG

4.3. All duties and taxes required to receive the shipment at the destination must be covered by the Buyer. 

4.4. Delivery costs are displayed before order confirmation. Purchased goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer within 3-14 business days. In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to ship goods within a period of up to 45 calendar days, informing the customer within 48 hours of receiving the order.

5. Right of Withdrawal

5.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from non-personalized goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receiving the Goods. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal person. 

5.2. To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, the goods may only be used for their intended purposes. The consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal. If the goods are used improperly, damaged, handled carelessly, or if the original packaging is lost or significantly damaged, the Online Store has the right to reduce the refund amount in accordance with the reduction in the value of the goods. 

5.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, You must submit a withdrawal form (found here: truckmeet.lv withdrawal form.docx), sending it filled out and signed with a secure electronic signature to the e-mail address [email protected] within 14 days of receiving the goods. 

5.4. The Buyer covers the cost of returning the goods, except in cases where the reason for return is that the goods do not comply with the order (e.g., incorrect or defective product). 

5.5. The Buyer is obliged to return the Goods to the Seller without delay, but no later than within 14 days of sending the withdrawal form. Upon receiving the returned goods, the Online Store shall immediately, but no later than within 14 days, refund all payments received from the buyer based on the Distance Contract. 

5.6. The Seller has the right to withhold the refund until the Goods or proof of return have been received. The Online Store is not obliged to compensate for additional shipping costs if the buyer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered. 

5.7. The Online Store is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or procedural errors of other service providers. 

5.8. The Online Store reserves the right to refuse the sale and demand the return of goods if the price indicated is significantly lower than its market price due to an error.

6. Consumer Rights for Non-compliant Goods

6.1. The Online Store is responsible for the non-compliance of the goods sold with the terms of the contract or for defects that appear within 6 months of the delivery date, or existed at the time of delivery. 

6.2. The Buyer must inform the Seller about the non-compliance immediately, within 2 months of its discovery, by submitting a complaint to [email protected]

6.3. The Online Store is not responsible for defects arising after delivery. If the goods have defects for which the Seller is responsible, the Buyer has the right to request a free repair or exchange. If repair or exchange is not possible, the Seller shall refund all payments. A written response to a complaint will be provided within 15 days.

7. Processing of Personal Data

7.1. The Online Store processes only the data entered by the buyer during ordering (name, surname, e-mail, etc.). Data is transferred to transport service providers to ensure delivery. 

7.2. If the Buyer has explicitly agreed to receive marketing communications, we may occasionally send information about services and offers. The Buyer can opt-out at any time by writing to [email protected].

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1. For matters not covered by these terms, the Buyer and Seller agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

 8.2. All disputes shall be resolved through mutual negotiations. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be settled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia. 

Disputes may also be submitted to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or via the European Union's online dispute resolution platforms.
